Inspiration for your Soul

Jesus is my inspiration. He is the only one who came, taught, suffered and survived the world. He died and rose again by the works, and the WORD of God; in the name of God. 

John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 8:31-32 KJV Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

We are bound by the deception of Satan. He is THE deceiver!!! Not A deceiver. He is the only one! Don't be fooled...know the TRUTH! Let God's word set you FREE. 

Revelation 12:9 KJV So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 

Satan is here with all his darkness, trying to lead us to and through a path of destruction. It is hard to stay on a narrow path when the broad path is much easier. Repent- meaning..."God I am a sinner, and I'm sorry for what I have done."
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God...
...But we all may be justified and made right with God through the Blood of Christ we can all be made brand new. 

Light swallows up darkness...God will always prevail...free will...your choice. Life or Death???

Lost and Found

It is impossible to be found without having being lost first. We are all lost through this journey in life until we find God, and accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior! He is the only one who can truly find you in the darkness, and bring you back to the sunlight of the spirit. Whatever your dealing with, or struggling with, just know that God will help you and bring you out of it, if your willing to do your part. God helps those who help themselves. Someone told me that once, and it really does make sense. Why would God help you, if your not willing to do your part and try to help yourself? This can pertain to many situations. On a side note, I have recently discovered Bible360. You all have to try it, you'll love it. (It's no longer available as of 2020, and I'm not sure why, it was the BEST bible app.) If your lost, scared, and fearful of finding the way back, don't be. Speaking from experience, it is hard, and scary. That's only Satan trying to deceive you and make you think that it can't be done. If you have accepted Jesus and follow Him, you have NOTHING to fear. "Fear thou not: for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10 (KJV) I am so at ease by reading this. Fear is the product of a lack of faith. It's not easy to "Give it to God"...and not take it back and try to control it again. It's hard work to be a Christian. Anything worth having is worked for though, as we all know in this world. This world is not for us. Our home is in heaven. So if you are lost, God will call you, just answer when he does, and call on him, and thank him everyday for everything He has given you! It could all be taken in a moment!

Life is gift from God

Unhappiness is Ungratefulness

Things just have not been going very well for me lately. I don't know why. I am just very unhappy with my living situation, and the having no car situation, and the living with my mom again situation. I just need to get out of here, and be independent again. Instead of complaining and griping about my "situation" I really need to be thanking, and praising God for all the blessings I have. Although this is not the ideal plan that I had for this stage of my life, things happen FOR A REASON. God has blessed me with such an amazing, supportive family who is willing to help me at my lowest. Here I am complaining about it. When what I think I want is going to come, and I'll have something else to complain and be unhappy about. 

The point is...

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 

1Thessalonians 5:18 NLT

...even when you really don't want to, because this is God's will for us! BE THANKFUL for what you do have. There are many that are less fortunate than I am.

We all have been through trials, and tribulations in our lives. I have experienced many in my 26 years of life here on earth. God helps us through them all. I have failed a test from God and given in to temptation. I have realized my mistake...and all I can do is ask for God's forgiveness, and forgive myself as well. I know where my heart is, and my mistakes aren't what define me. I may fall, but I will not stay down. You have to pick yourself back up, and learn that you have made an error in judgement and remember the lesson you received from it. Everything truly does happen for a reason. I am much stronger now for all the things I have endured, and been through. I am who I am today because I guess I gained some wisdom along the way. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 NIV  

Yes we all have, and will. What is most important is how we handle the situation and our actions thereafter.

Don't choose your friends foolishly...

My mom always told me "You are the company you keep." I never truly understood this until I was older. This is so true though. Even in Law Enforcement they believe this, you are guilty by association. The Lord told us this as well. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.(Psalms 1:1-3 KJV) My interpretation of this verse means that you should not associate yourself with ungodly, and wicked people. If you choose not to, then you will be blessed, and everything that you do you will be a success. Psalms is my favorite book in the bible. I love that it starts with this valuable instruction from our God. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He did make us. I used to hang out with “trash” as my mom used to call. I couldn’t see it then, but I do now. I pick and choose my friends wisely now. You are the company that you keep. Never forget that. Do not put yourself in the company of people that are not good for you. All you can do for those people is Pray, Pray, Pray for them, because Lord knows you can’t change them…Trust me I know by experience.
